Frequently Asked Questions

The adoption process typically involves filling out an application, meeting the puppy (in real life or via video call), and undergoing a screening process. Details about each step, including any required documentation, will be provided on our site, or through personal communication.

The price of the pups reflects the time and attention to detail we put into raising high quality pups. That includes making sure they are physically sound, have good conformation, have been genetically screened, bred for good temperament and trainability, and have been well adjusted socially. It can cost thousands of dollars to raise a litter to 8 weeks, including veterinary fees, health screening, registrations, grooming, vaccinations, plus the hours of socializing the pups and observing their individual personalities so we can give good advice on matching them to a family.

Absolutely! You are welcome to come to our farm and visit the pups yourself. Just let me know when it works for you.

The puppies will not be potty trained, as that generally starts in earnest after about 8 weeks. They will be acclimatized to an indoor environment, have gone through ENS (Early Neural Stimulation) and will have begun the first stages of crate training.

Also, your puppy price includes a LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP to Baxter and Bella training website, which provides dozens of worksheets, schedules, videos, webinars, and even personal coaching for training your new pup. See our Puppy Training Program page here for more details.

All of it! 😃 Seriously though, feel free to text or call with any concerns or questions you might be having. I will do my best to help you find answers.

Each pet is unique, and sometimes it takes time to get settled in. Ultimately, if you decide you are not a good match for your pup, we will take it back and attempt to rehome it for you.
